The orchard hosted an exhibit about Quann Community Gardeners from August - November, 2009 entitled Sowing Stories by Julia Steege, Elizabeth Henley, and Taryn Garland. It featured the photographs below of gardeners alongside quotations about why gardening at Quann Community Garden is important to them. While the images are of Quann gardeners, the quotes are universal and reveal things that happen at a community garden beyond growing veggies.
